- 400 g Frozen peas
- 3 Carrot
- 1 Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 150 g White rice
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Ground cinnamon (optional)
Method
- Dice the onion and carrot; cook the rice separately.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in the olive oil, add the carrot, then the tomatoes, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the peas and a little water and simmer until the carrots are tender, 18 minutes.
- Serve the stew over the rice.
