- 800 g Beef short rib
- 300 g Korean radish
- 1 Onion
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 3 Scallions
- 0.6 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper (optional)
Method
- Soak the short ribs in cold water 20 minutes to draw out blood, then blanch in boiling water 5 minutes and rinse.
- Simmer the cleaned ribs with the onion, garlic, and plenty of water until the meat is tender, about 50 minutes, skimming.
- Add chunks of radish and cook until translucent, 12 minutes; season with salt and pepper.
- Ladle into bowls and finish with sliced scallions.
