- 300 g White rice
- 250 g Black beans
- ¼ tsp Salt (optional)
Method
- Soak the soybeans in water for 30 minutes, then drain.
- Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rice, soaked beans, salt, and measured water and bring to a boil, then cover and cook on low until tender, 15 minutes.
- Rest off the heat 5 minutes, then fluff and serve.
