  • 300 g White rice
  • 250 g Black beans
  • ¼ tsp Salt (optional)

Method

  1. Soak the soybeans in water for 30 minutes, then drain.
  2. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.
  3. Combine the rice, soaked beans, salt, and measured water and bring to a boil, then cover and cook on low until tender, 15 minutes.
  4. Rest off the heat 5 minutes, then fluff and serve.
