- 250 g Puy lentils
- 120 g White rice
- 100 g Spaghetti
- 150 g Chickpeas
- 3 Onion
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ tsp Salt
Method
- Simmer the lentils until tender, 22 minutes; separately cook the rice and boil the pasta.
- Slice the onions thin and fry slowly in the olive oil until deep brown and crisp, 18 minutes.
- Make a sauce from the tomatoes, garlic, cumin, and salt, simmered 10 minutes.
- Layer the lentils, rice, pasta, and chickpeas, top with the sauce and crisp onions, and serve.
