Ingredients

  • 300 g Puy lentils
  • 150 g Italian sausage
  • 200 g Canned tomatoes
  • 150 g Swiss chard
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Carrot
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp Salt

Method

  1. Dice the onion and carrot, mince the garlic, and shred the chard.
  2. Brown the crumbled sausage in the oil, then add the onion, carrot, and garlic and soften.
  3. Add the lentils, tomatoes, salt, and water to cover, and simmer until the lentils are tender, 22 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chard and cook until wilted, 4 minutes.
  5. Drizzle with oil and serve.
