Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground turkey
  • 4 Tomato
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Carrot
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 100 g Frozen peas (optional)

Method

  1. Dice the onion, carrot, and tomato; mince the garlic.
  2. Brown the turkey in the oil, breaking it up, until no pink remains.
  3. Add the onion, carrot, garlic, cumin, and cinnamon and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the tomato, peas, and salt, cover, and simmer until the carrots are tender and the sauce thickens, 12 minutes.
  5. Taste, adjust, and serve.
