- 500 g Ground turkey
- 4 Tomato
- 1 Onion
- 2 Carrot
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 2 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Ground cinnamon (optional)
- 100 g Frozen peas (optional)
Method
- Dice the onion, carrot, and tomato; mince the garlic.
- Brown the turkey in the oil, breaking it up, until no pink remains.
- Add the onion, carrot, garlic, cumin, and cinnamon and cook until softened.
- Stir in the tomato, peas, and salt, cover, and simmer until the carrots are tender and the sauce thickens, 12 minutes.
- Taste, adjust, and serve.
