  • 250 g Glutinous rice
  • 280 g Black-eyed peas
  • 200 g Corn kernels
  • 50 g Peanuts
  • ⅜ tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds (optional)
  • 80 ml Coconut milk (optional)

Method

  1. Soak the sticky rice and black-eyed peas for an hour, then drain.
  2. Simmer the black-eyed peas until nearly tender, 25 minutes, and drain.
  3. Toss the rice with the beans, corn, coconut milk, and salt and steam until glossy and tender, 22 minutes.
  4. Top with crushed peanuts and sesame and serve.
