- 300 g Glutinous rice
- 200 g Black beans
- 3 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 0.4 tsp Salt
- 100 ml Coconut milk (optional)
- 40 g Peanuts (optional)
Method
- Soak the sticky rice and black beans separately for an hour, then drain.
- Simmer the black beans until nearly tender, 30 minutes, and drain.
- Toss the rice with the beans and a little salt and steam until glossy and tender, 25 minutes.
- Toast and crush the sesame seeds with the peanuts and scatter over to serve.
