Ingredients

  • 300 g Glutinous rice
  • 200 g Dried mung beans
  • 0.4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 tsp Sugar (optional)

Method

  1. Soak the sticky rice and split mung beans separately for an hour, then drain.
  2. Steam the mung beans until soft, then mash and rub into fine crumbs with the salt.
  3. Steam the rice until tender, then toss with the oil and half the bean crumbs.
  4. Fluff so the grains separate, dust with the remaining bean crumbs and sugar, and serve.
