Ingredients

  • 350 g Firm tofu
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind paste
  • 2 Tomato
  • 250 g Okra
  • 100 g Bean sprouts
  • 15 g Cilantro
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Neutral oil
  • 150 g Pineapple (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Light soy sauce (optional)

Method

  1. Cube the tofu and okra, wedge the tomatoes, and dissolve the tamarind in hot water.
  2. Fry the garlic in the oil, add water and the tamarind broth, and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the tofu, okra, tomato, pineapple, and sprouts and simmer 8 minutes.
  4. Season with soy and finish with cilantro.
