- 350 g Fava beans
- 1 Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Smoked paprika
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 Dried chilies (optional)
- 1 Bay leaves (optional)
Method
- Soak the dried favas overnight, then drain.
- Soften the diced onion and garlic in the olive oil with the paprika and chili, 5 minutes.
- Add the favas, bay, salt, and water and simmer until tender and thick, 55 minutes.
- Serve hot with bread.
