- 350 g Chickpeas
- 2 Onion
- 2 Lemon
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Rosemary (optional)
- 1 Bay leaves (optional)
Method
- Soak the chickpeas overnight, then drain.
- Combine the chickpeas, sliced onion, rosemary, bay, salt, olive oil, and water in a pot.
- Simmer very gently, half-covered, until the chickpeas are meltingly soft, 75 minutes.
- Finish with lots of lemon and serve.
