Ingredients

  • 350 g Chickpeas
  • 2 Onion
  • 2 Lemon
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Rosemary (optional)
  • 1 Bay leaves (optional)

Method

  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight, then drain.
  2. Combine the chickpeas, sliced onion, rosemary, bay, salt, olive oil, and water in a pot.
  3. Simmer very gently, half-covered, until the chickpeas are meltingly soft, 75 minutes.
  4. Finish with lots of lemon and serve.
