- 1 Onion
- 20 g Dill
- 2 Lemon
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.4 tsp Salt
- 3 Scallions (optional)
- 1 Carrot (optional)
- ½ tsp Sugar (optional)
Method
- Slice the onion, scallions, and carrot.
- Sweat the vegetables in the olive oil, then add the favas, sugar, salt, lemon, and a little water.
- Braise gently, covered, until the favas are tender, 25 minutes.
- Cool to room temperature, fold through the dill, and serve.
